A. A BSB (Bank-State-Branch) is a unique, six-digit number identifying a bank and/or branch in Australia. The BSB is used in conjunction with the account number in order to transfer money or make electronic payments.
A. As we continue to streamline our processes and consolidate suppliers to deliver operational efficiencies, members are advised that the Quay Mutual Bank BSB will be deactivated on 31 July, 2019.
After this time, the Quay Mutual Bank BSB will no longer exist in the Australian payments system and any payments presented with the old BSB may be returned. All members should use the G&C Mutual Bank BSB 659-000 and their updated account reference numbers which are all listed under the “Accounts Tab” in Online Banking.
A. As part of the transition, Quay Mutual Bank member numbers were previously updated to a 7 digit number starting with 3 and filled in with 0s, dependant on the length of the previous member number. For example, if your member number was 12345, your updated member number became 3012345.
A. As part of the transition, account reference numbers were previously updated, along with member numbers. Your account reference numbers are all listed under the “Accounts Tab” in Online Banking.
A. Please ensure you advise your current direct credit and direct debit suppliers of G&C Mutual Bank’s BSB 659-000 and your updated account reference numbers which are all listed under the “Accounts Tab” in Online Banking. If you have had regular direct credits and direct debits in place in the last 12 months, we have recently contacted you to help you identify these.
If you have already changed your details when first advised, you do not have to do anything further.
A. After 31 July 2019, the Quay Mutual Bank BSB will no longer exist in the Australian payments system and any payments presented with the old BSB will be rejected.
