Announcement by G&C Mutual Bank Board Chair: Appointment of Rosanna Argall as CEO
It is with great pleasure that I announce, on behalf of my fellow Directors, that Rosanna Argall, after 11 years as G&C’s Deputy CEO, and many years in successive and successful leadership roles across the mutual banking sector, has been appointed as CEO of G&C Mutual Bank.
Rosanna succeeds retiring CEO Dave Taylor, after 11 years as CEO. We would like to thank Dave for his outstanding contribution in transforming G&C to become one of the country’s best performing and most innovative customer-owned banks. Dave will remain actively involved in the mutual banking sector through his various Director roles, including on the Boards of G&C, Cufss and Shared Services Partners.
Rosanna is a highly qualified executive who has a passion for G&C, its members, and its people, and we are extremely confident that she will continue the strategy that’s been executed by the Board over the last few years. Rosanna has been an integral part of G&C’s cultural journey and has led the organisation, in her role as Deputy CEO and alongside Dave, to deliver a sustainable mutual bank alternative built upon innovative business partnerships, digital innovation and sector-leading financial performance and capital generation.
As a constant advocate of the principles of mutuality, Rosanna has demonstrated her belief in the model by focusing the bulk of her career on the mutual banking sector. Rosanna is completely aligned with these principles, the culture of G&C and the values that underpin our organisation. Rosanna has also been a passionate leader who has focussed on developing talented staff who thrive on teamwork, embrace change, innovation and cultural diversity, and share a deep commitment to values-based banking.
Speaking of her appointment at our recent G&C Board meeting, Rosanna said:
