Liverpool Hospital is the major health service for south-western Sydney and also provides a range of statewide services in areas such as critical care and trauma, neonatal intensive care and brain injury rehabilitation.

The Department of the Month Award recognises the exceptional work of a Liverpool Hospital Department each month. The Award for May went to the Switchboard team for their outstanding efforts and excellence in teamwork.
