Amy B, Deployment Manager
Congratulations to Amy who has been a major strength both as a deployment manager in the Hunter New England (HNE) Sector Office, as well as a paramedic at Muswellbrook Station.
Amy has consistently put in great effort to ensure that staff issues are managed and actioned promptly; being in collaboration with staff and managers regularly to ensure all matters are managed in a kind and fair manner to meet operational demands.
This effort has greatly improved the HNE sector performance, and NSW Ambulance’s overall strategic objectives.
Amy stated: “It is important for me to provide roster that assist in creating a happier work-life balance as much as possible for our staff. We spend a lot of time at work, and we have a stressful job, so it is important to know that your roster is working for you. This recognition has re-lit the fire in me and has motivated me to keep going"
Amy exemplifies great commitment to every task at hand, with kindness, fairness, and diligently following protocols and policies while advocating for her fellow staff.
