Michael C, Technician – Kempsey Workshops
Mick is based at Kempsey Workshop, in Kempsey-Coffs Harbour, Mid North Coast.
As a mechanic, Mick manages a large geographical area with a large fleet of vehicles to maintain. He’s noted for taking everything in his stride, from SWIFT enhancements to natural disasters. Mick’s diligence and ability to think outside the box has led to in identifying system issues and creating and implementing new work processes. His commitment to work helps ensure that the workshop operates efficiently and at a high standard.
Mick was surprised to be selected as Employee of the Month. "It’s nice to be recognised, although it wasn’t something I was expecting."
Michael received $250 in prize money from G&C Mutual Bank and have the opportunity to receive a further $2,000 in prize money from G&C Mutual Bank for the NSW Ambulance Employee of the Year Award. The recipient of the Employee of the Year Award will be chosen from the 2024 Honour Roll of Employees of the Month. G&C Mutual Bank has sponsored the NSW Ambulance Employee of the Month and Employee of the Year Awards for over a decade. It’s our way of thanking NSW Ambulance employees for their service to the community.
