Late last year, we held Member Roadshow events in Melbourne, Newcastle, Wagga Wagga and Lismore. These events provided an important platform to meet with local members, share key information about the merger ahead of our 65th Annual General Meeting, and address any questions from our members.
A central theme at each event was our commitment to members and staff at each of our Service Centres. We are pleased to again reassure members that there will be no redundancies or branch closures as a result of the merger with Unity Bank. Our local presence remains a vital part of our strategy, and we are dedicated to maintaining strong local teams who understand the needs of the communities of which we are a part of.
With the merger going ahead on 7th March, we are more confident than ever in our ability to enhance the services and support we offer to our members. This is an exciting time for our organisation, and we look forward to leveraging the combined strengths of both banks to deliver even greater value to members.
